Step-by-Step Guide: Turkish ID Card & Passport Appointment After Citizenship Approval

Obtaining Turkish citizenship by investment is an exciting milestone. Upon receiving your Citizenship Approval Letter, you may book your Turkish ID card & Turkish passport appointment at the nearest Turkish Consulate General. These documents are essential to fully exercise your rights as a Turkish citizen.

1. Turkish ID Card Appointment
Visit the official Consulate website and click “Randevu Al (Book Appointment)”.
Choose: Consular Services for Turkish Citizens → Civil Registry (Nüfus) → Turkish ID Card (TCKK) Application (Due to Birth or Replacement).
Answer as follows:
Do you know your Turkish ID Number? → Yes
Do you hold a Blue Card? → No
Is your Turkish ID Number written on your old ID card? → No
Enter details from your Citizenship Approval Letter (ID number, date of birth, and email).
Verify with the code sent to your email.
In the address section, writing only the city of residence is sufficient.
Select your preferred appointment date and time.
2. Turkish Passport Appointment
On the same Consulate website, click “Randevu Al (Book Appointment)” → “New Passport Application” → “Book Now.”
Answer as follows:
Do you know your Turkish ID Number? → Yes
Do you hold a Blue Card? → No
Is your Turkish ID Number written on your old ID card? → Yes
Enter details from your Citizenship Approval Letter.
Verify with the email code.
Address section → only the city name required.
Select the available appointment date and time.

Required Documents for Your Appointment:
Your foreign passport
One biometric photo (50×60 mm, taken within the last six months, white background, no patterns, ICAO-compliant)
A document showing your residential address abroad (utility bill, rental contract, etc.)
Print-out of your Citizenship Approval Letter
USD 350 cash per applicant (mandatory consular fee)
